Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of lightwick.trade, Lightwick accounts, our app, and related services (together, "Lightwick"). By creating an account or using Lightwick, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Lightwick.

Using Lightwick

  • You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding contract, and legally permitted to use the services where you are located.
  • Unless a separate agreement permits otherwise, each account is for one person. Protect your sign-in details and notify hello@lightwick.trade of suspected unauthorized use.
  • Provide accurate account information and keep your contact details current.

"We", "us", and "our" refer to Lightwick. If you use Lightwick for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. A separate written agreement with us takes priority to the extent it expressly conflicts with these terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled.

Beta access and availability

Beta, trial, and early-access versions may be incomplete, contain errors, or change without notice, except where notice is legally required. Access may be limited, suspended, or ended. Free access does not create a right to continued free use, any particular feature, or a future release. Paid access requires a separate subscription authorization.

Features, compatibility, support, and availability may vary by version, plan, device, account, or location. We may change or discontinue parts of Lightwick, subject to applicable law and any binding paid-service obligations. Descriptions of planned features are not commitments to deliver them. No particular uptime, support response time, update schedule, or continued compatibility is guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

Subscriptions and billing

If you purchase a subscription, the price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and any offer conditions are those disclosed when you authorize the purchase. Promotional or beta access does not lock in future pricing.

  • Where you authorize recurring billing, your subscription renews and your payment method is charged at the disclosed interval until canceled.
  • Use the billing controls available in your account to cancel, or contact hello@lightwick.trade if you need help. Cancellation takes effect under the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law. Uninstalling the app or ceasing use does not by itself cancel a subscription.
  • Except where required by law or expressly stated in the purchase terms, payments are non-refundable and unused time does not qualify for a credit.
  • Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted or suspended access.
  • Prices and plans may change. Changes to an existing subscription are subject to applicable notice and consent requirements and the purchase terms. You retain any cancellation or refund rights required by law.

Third-party services and data

Lightwick provides software and is not a broker, investment adviser, futures commission merchant, exchange, or custodian. Trading features may transmit instructions to third-party services. Those services govern account access, execution, settlement, and the handling of funds.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the accounts, permissions, data rights, and subscriptions your use requires, following third-party rules, and paying third-party fees. A Lightwick subscription does not itself grant market-data or third-party service rights.

Third parties may change, restrict, or end their services. We do not control their availability, data, execution, fees, or account decisions, and do not guarantee continued access or compatibility. References to third parties do not by themselves imply endorsement or a partnership.

Trading risk

Trading involves substantial risk. Leveraged trading can result in losses exceeding your initial deposit. You are responsible for assessing suitability, your trading decisions, and reviewing and monitoring orders, positions, and account limits, including when using automated or copied actions.

  • Nothing in Lightwick, on this website, or in our guides is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
  • Software, connections, and data can fail, lag, or be inaccurate. Orders may be delayed, rejected, duplicated, or fail to cancel. Risk controls may not operate as expected. Verify orders and positions with your broker or firm and maintain another way to manage your account.
  • Backtests, examples, simulations, analysis, and past performance do not predict or guarantee future results. Actual conditions and costs may differ materially.
  • Automated tools and generated content can produce errors. Review their output and actions before relying on them. No tool, strategy, or feature guarantees profits, prevents losses, or ensures compliance with a firm’s rules.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

  • share, sell, or rent your account or subscription without our express authorization;
  • copy, modify, or redistribute the software, or reverse-engineer it except where applicable law or a separate license permits;
  • get around licensing, plan limits, or security measures, or interfere with our servers or other people’s use of Lightwick;
  • use Lightwick to break the law, market rules, or the terms of your firm, broker, or data provider, including by manipulating markets.

Your work and ours

You retain any ownership rights you have in material you create or submit. You are responsible for having the rights needed to use it. Submitting material gives us permission to process and use it as needed to provide the services and handle your requests, subject to the Privacy Policy.

Lightwick and its software, design, and brand are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these terms, your authorized access, and any applicable fees, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lightwick for its intended purposes on devices you own or control. Other rights are reserved. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

If you voluntarily submit feedback or suggestions, we may use them without compensation or an obligation to implement them. Keep copies of material important to you; continued storage, recovery, and compatibility are not guaranteed.

Ending your account

You may stop using Lightwick and request account closure by contacting hello@lightwick.trade. Cancel any active subscription separately. Account closure does not itself cancel third-party accounts, close positions, or cancel working orders; manage those with the relevant provider.

We may restrict, suspend, or end access for violations of these terms, nonpayment, suspected misuse, security or legal reasons, or discontinuation of a service. Notice, continued access, refunds, and other remedies are subject to applicable law and any binding purchase terms. Prior notice may not be possible. Account closure and deletion requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

The parts of these terms that by their nature should survive, including trading risk, ownership, and liability, continue to apply after your account closes.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightwick is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accurate or complete data, successful order execution, or any particular outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our licensors are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or relating to Lightwick, even if advised of their possibility. Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to Lightwick or these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Lightwick in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and US $100.

These exclusions and limits apply only where lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The date above identifies the latest revision. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice, acceptance, or other requirements of applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using Lightwick and cancel any subscription, without affecting rights you already have.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. Contact hello@lightwick.trade with questions about these terms.
