What we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Lightwick. We collect information from you, from your use of our services, and from service providers or services you choose to connect.

- Signup and preference information: setup answers, device and platform preferences, feature requests, and how you heard about Lightwick, including earlier waitlist submissions.
- Subscription and transaction information: your plan, payment status, and related billing records. Payment providers also process information you submit to them.
- Usage and technical information: device and browser information, network information such as IP address, approximate location, pages visited, referral and campaign information, and performance or error information.
- Support and feedback information: messages, diagnostic information, and any screenshots, files, or other material you submit.
Please do not include passwords, payment credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information in messages or attachments.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and service providers use cookies and similar technologies to support sign-in, remember preferences, protect the service, and understand visits and signup sources. You can manage cookies and stored website data through your browser settings. Blocking or clearing them may affect sign-in and other features. Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How we use it
- To provide and administer Lightwick, including accounts, access, subscriptions, and connected features.
- To communicate about your account, requests, product access, and updates.
- To investigate issues, provide support, and evaluate and improve the services.
- To understand usage, performance, signup sources, and interest in our services.
- To detect misuse, protect users and our business, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, the basis depends on the activity: performing a contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and improving our services and preventing misuse, complying with legal obligations, or consent where required. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
How we share information
We may disclose the categories of information described above in the following circumstances, as relevant to the purpose of the disclosure:
- Service providers: businesses that help operate our services, including account administration, payment processing, analytics, communications, and support.
- Services you choose: third parties involved in features or connections you use, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
- Legal and protective purposes: where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security issues, legal claims, or threats to rights or safety.
- Business transactions: in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law.
- At your direction: when you request a disclosure or give consent.
We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Third-party websites and services you use have their own privacy policies; this policy covers Lightwick’s handling of information.
How long we keep it
Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is held. We consider account and service needs, the usefulness of signup and feedback information, investigation and security needs, and requirements for billing, recordkeeping, disputes, and legal compliance. Different categories may be retained for different periods.
Closing an account or requesting deletion does not necessarily remove all records immediately. Some information may remain in backups or be retained where permitted or required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-related purposes, subject to applicable law.
Security and international processing
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will always be secure or that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Contact hello@lightwick.trade if you believe your information or account has been compromised.
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Applicable legal requirements for international transfers still apply. Contact us for information about the processing relevant to your account or any applicable transfer safeguards.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of certain uses or disclosures. These rights may be subject to exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority or appeal a decision about your request.
Email hello@lightwick.trade to make a request or ask about your rights. We may need to verify your identity and, where relevant, an authorized agent’s authority. Requests are handled under applicable law, including any required response periods and appeal rights. You may exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.
You can request that promotional messages stop by using any unsubscribe option provided or by contacting us. Account, billing, security, and other service-related messages may still be sent.
Age requirements
Lightwick is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact hello@lightwick.trade so the matter can be addressed under applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required by applicable law.
